Aarhus
Aarhus, on the Jutland Peninsula, is Denmark's second largest city and an important seaport. It lies in the Central Jutland region and is the seat of Aarhus municipality and of a Polish honorary consulate. The city sits on the European Route of Brick Gothic. In Aarhus it is worth visiting the historic Viking house and strolling through the charming old streets. Average temperatures reach around 20°C in summer and drop to 0°C in winter. The best time to visit is spring and summer, when the city's cultural life is at its liveliest.
